Dr. Smith received the Mom Approved award with DFW Child, highlighting her years of effective therapy and comprehensive assessments aimed to help clients succeed wherever they might be in their education or career paths. Dr. Smith earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Southern Methodist University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in educational psychology from Baylor University. She worked as a therapist and director of children’s outreach at the Family Place in Dallas prior to beginning her doctoral studies.
